The best way to clean the broom is to remove the dust from the brush with your hand, or use a broom brush (or an old hairbrush). If the bristles have lost their shape, simply wet them in lukewarm water& re-shape while damp. Hang the brush to dry. Clean the dustpan with a damp cloth.
