How can I clean my Falcon Enamelware?
Lemon juice can remove stains from Falcon enamelware products, such as tea stains on mugs. Soaking the products in warm soapy water will help remove baked on food, but avoid using abrasive sponges or brushes as this may scratch the surface. Coating your pans in a light layer of oil before cooking can help with cleaning after use.

If my enamelware chips can I still use it?
Yes. Just like any other ceramic, the outer porcelain layer can chip if dropped, revealing the steel beneath it. When this happens the steel below naturally oxidises and the enamelware remains safe to use. Plus, in our opinion, it gains a little more character.

About the Merchant

Falcon Enamelware | Birmingham, England, UK | Est. 1921

Since the 1920's Falcon enamelware has been an icon of British home life. Originally manufactured in the Black Country area near Birmingham, England. Joe Kleiner & Sons created the original enamelware brand. Falcon's blue-rimmed ice-white enamelware has been a smart-looking and hard-wearing presence in British kitchen life since the 1920s. Enamelware is porcelain fused onto heavy-gauge steel. Which means that it is durable, does not burn and will not break if (when) you drop it. Since 2011, Falcon has expanded its range to include more sizes, designs and, most intriguingly, colors.
